CHORAL SPEAKING 2015

Hello everyone! It's been a long long time since I posted on my blog.

Today I would like to share my experience about being a part of a choral speaking team.

So, this is my first in my lifetime being a part of the team. It was a very fun and great experience! At first I thought that I'm gonna fail in memorizing the script, which was three pages long and that the teacher is going to kick me out from the team. But at last, I managed to memorize every single words, sentences, movements and else. We stayed back every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1.10 pm to 2.30/3.00 pm at school to practice.

Before the competition day arrived, we rehearsed on stage at school in the morning. I was so nervous to perform in front of my fellow friends. I couldn't give my full attention to the conductor as I was looking at the audience, which made me laughed a little.

On the big day, which was on 23rd April, we were the third group to perform on stage. In front of the judges and fellow competitors from 12 other schools, oh tell me who are not nervous? I took a deep breath and started to perform.

Although we didn't manage to get to the top three, at least we were not the last. And I think that our hard work paid off, as we improved a little during performance.
