SWEET 16

14 May 2016. It's my birthday YAY!!

Yesterday was a fun and blessed day. It was indeed a meaningful day to me. My close and far family members wished me. My friends and acquaintances wished me. My old friends I met in Holland wished me.

First of all, a week before my birthday, my father told me that he has to go outstation for work in the near days. I was sad because he has to go outstation before my birthday and that he could not celebrate with me. But Allah is the best planner. My father didn't go outstation because his application was not confirmed yet. So I got a chance to celebrate my birthday with him.

Yesterday also happened to be my appointment with the orthodontist. I got my braces tighten and it's not fun because it hurts and I can barely eat. After the appointment, I wanted to eat Chicken McNuggets because they come with a french cheese sauce and I have longed for it. But then the worker said that all the sauces had finished. I was sad because the last time I went also finished. Fortunately, the guy found only one sauce left!! My mood changed instantly hehehe.

Later, my sister decided to buy me a Starbucks' drink for my birthday. She was so nice that day. It made me wished that "can my birthday be everyday" just so she could be nice to me all the time lol.

After that, my mum decided to buy me a piece of my favourite cake. I told her I didn't want to buy a whole cake because last year we already did for everyone's birthday. So I bought my favourite cake, 'Chocolate Indulgence' from Secret Recipe. Ahhhh it was goooood.

Later that night, we went out to celebrate my birthday. We went to a steak house called Polpero in Shah Alam. The food there are tasty and the price are very very reasonable, you can rarely find it anywhere. I recommend you to go there.

This meal cost RM 13++
All in a nutshell, I am very blessed to have these people in my life, especially my parents. They all made my birthday a day to be remembered. I enjoyed my special day despite that I was all in at the end of the day. Alhamdulillah for everything!

Love,
Aida.
