THE LAST TEEN
Phew, I didn't know that this blog still exists. The last time I wrote a blog post was on January 1, 2019 and now I'm posting a new one on January 1, 2020. What have I been doing all this time sampaikan satu tahun tak update blog haha.
Anyways, 2019 has been one roller coaster but fun ride for me. Started the year with me still being a foundation student at UiTM Dengkil. On mid of April, I sat for my final examination for Semester 2 which marked the end of my foundation year. I swear I miss my Dengkil friends so so much that I still reminisce the moments until now. Life in Dengkil was so much better, fun and enjoyable despite the stress and some conflicts that happened. But all in all, I would consider that as my second home.
After we finished with our last paper, we took class pictures. I reminded myself not to cry because I wanna be 'strong' gitewww but the moment I hugged my friends, I couldn't stop my tears. My classmates have made class much more fun than I thought it would. Even though I wasn't close with all of them but I can still feel the connections we had. My Subang Represent friends; Farae, Lily and Asya. Oh I miss these girls so mucho! Our frequent dinner routine, gossip sesh and night walks around the campus. Now it's so hard to meet all of them. Farae is in UPM with me but the last time we met was like in.... September, I guess (even though our college are neighbours).
What about my Dengkil housemates? Yang ini jangan cakap laaaaaa. RINDU GILAAAA!!!! I still remember when I found out Ira had just stopped from crying. When I asked her what happened, she said it's because foundation is ending soon and she'll miss Dengkil. But that day was like few months before foundation ends. Awal betul dia nangis 😂. When the last day came, I felt what Ira felt. The thought that I wouldn't be able to see their faces and joke around with each other everyday saddens me. It was such an emotional night. For the first time ever I didn't feel excited when packing up my things to go home.
Moving on to mid May, I was called for interview for Bachelor of Pharmacy in USM, UiTM and UM. It was very very nerve-wrecking as it was my first interview everrrr. I was most excited for the interview in UM as it is my dream university. So I did my interview quite confidently, in hope that I could enroll into UM. Tapi confident2 pun, tak dapat jugak hahaha. Even though I didn't get to enter UM, I was glad that I got to be one of the candidate to be interviewed. At least I have a copy of the interview letter to keep for memory. On the day I went for an interview in USM, I received my Semester 2 result and the overall CGPA for foundation. Alhamdulillah, the result was very satisfying.
Oh, not to forget. My friends even celebrated Faiz's and my birthday on May 19th. They did the birthday 'surprise' which only Faiz was surprised because I already knew the plan HAHA. But anyway, massive thank you to Farae, Lily, Weenie, Nina, Jad and Megat 💖.

In August, I was given the chance to receive the Education Excellence Award presented by Sime Darby Plantation. Alhamdulillah for the achievement and opportunity.
On August 17, our neighbour in Holland came to Malaysia for summer holiday. We invited them for tea and dinner at our house. OMG you guys have no idea how tall one of their son is. He's like the same height as my house main door 😂. I totally felt like a dwarf the whole night. We chit-chatted, drank coffee, served them local cuisines for dinner and local fruits for dessert, except Durian. What made this meeting more special is that we celebrated Papa's and Michelle's birthday. Papa's birthday's on the 16th while Michelle's on the 17th (which was on the day they visited us), so that's quite a rare event.

Not long after that, I received UPU result. I got enrolled into Universiti Putra Malaysia for Bachelor of Science Chemistry (Hons). I felt quite disappointed that I didn't get to enroll into Bachelor of Pharmacy or UM; but everything happens for a reason, right? After all, Allah is the best planner. I'm not gonna write about life in UPM here cause that requires another long long paragraphs haha.
The year 2019 has been one of the best too. I learned how to be more patient and accept everything that happened wholeheartedly. I cared less on things that are trivial and focus more on things that make me happy. But I still haven't gotten myself to manage time wisely gosh. Tomorrow's exam and I haven't finished studying yet and here I am writing a blog post lol good luck dear-self.
Also, I finally had my braces debonded after four years yeayyyy but somehow, I miss my braces :(
For 2020, my main goal is to become a better person in terms of attitude and religious matter. I hope to achieve more in academic-related; dean's list, Insya Allah. Oh, and also to continue my 2017, 2018 and 2019 goal: time management. Haha.
Please pray for my success in studies and life, and may you achieve yours as well. May this year be the year that we will cherish again, just like the other years. Ameen 😊.
Side note: I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M 20 THIS YEAR OMG GUYS I'M AN ADULT ALREADY ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
