IFTAR DAY AND...!
Hello and Salam Ramadhan to all muslims!! (I know I'm days late for the wish lol)
In this post, I want to share about an exciting day I went through with my friends. Yes yes, the title says it. 'Iftar' day with my friends. Maybe y'all be like "ala iftar je" but for me, it is not just 'ala iftar je' because this was my very first time going out for iftar with my friends and was my second time in life going out with friends. If you know me well, my parents, especially my mom rarely allow me to go out with my friends. You know nowadays, the world are becoming less safe. A lot of unwanted cases happened here and there and this what makes it so hard for me to go out.
But on this particular day, I asked my parents' permission to go for iftar with my friends by LRT at Serai @ Empire and surprisingly, they allowed me to go. The inner me was surprised at the response. Because of this, I was excited the whole day hehe, but I just couldn't stopped wondering why my mom suddenly allowed me to go out because it is just. Not. My. Mom.
Okay so after my tuition ended at 4:45, I quickly went home and prayed and got ready for the iftar and then my mom sent me to the LRT station. OH talking about LRT, it was also my first time taking public transport in Malaysia (except for taxis) and you just couldn't imagine how excited I was (jarang keluar sendiri problem). Through out the LRT ride with my friends, Nurlynn and Amirah, I was reminded of the times I took the public transports in Holland and it made miss Holland so much. Then, we stopped at Wawasan station to catch up with my other friends, Azween and Farae (Farahaisyah) and went back on the LRT again until we reached Subang Jaya station. From the station, we walked about more than a kilometre to reach Empire and waited for two other friend, Farah and Farisha.
Okay lah tak nak cerita panjang panjang. Kita terus kepada part lepas buka puasa tu. I realized something suspicious about my friends. They were whispering to each other and I'm there like ???. To not prolong my suspicion towards them, I just ignored and went to the praying room with some of my friends and the others decided to wait in the restaurant. After praying, we went back to the restaurant and they decided to 'lepak' in the restaurant for a short while so I just followed.
Suddenly, "Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, ....." I turned my head towards the sound and realized the song was sang for me and my friend, Amirah. We had our birthday on the same month. I was surprised, of course, and I just couldn't stop smiling lol. While eating the cake, they confessed that they had planned and asked for my mom's permission. No wonder my mom agreed for me to join them for the iftar.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU SO MUCH GIRLS 💛💛. I really appreciate what you girls have done for me. No words could utter how grateful and happy I was. And it would have been even merrier if Nana and Irsalina were able to join us. But it's okay because I got you girls in a group picture also, thanks to my amazing editing skill :p.
Love,
Aida.
